Most cement and concrete worker injuries result from employer failures to implement and enforce the specific health and safety protocols that OSHA and basic workplace safety law require. When those failures cause serious harm, the law provides a path to full compensation for every loss that follows. Concrete and cement work carries hazards that fall into two broad categories: the acute physical dangers of construction site work — falls, struck-by incidents, equipment accidents, and crush injuries — and the chemical and respiratory hazards specific to the materials themselves.
